Everytime I go to another Mexican restaurant instead of this one, I get mad at myself. The service, food and everything else is great at San Antonio. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This was our first visit and we will be back. We ordered the 16oz ribeye and the Texan fajitas. Both were well cooked. The steak, ordered medium rare was perfect and delicious, not overly seasoned. The place was clean, well lit and the staff were all very friendly.

I went here with a friend because this is where she wanted to go. First off I always look forward to eating out and I always want to like the place. The chips and salsa, not good. Cheese dip was the traditional cheese dip you get at Mexican restaurants. I guess it was the best part of my meal..? I ordered the fajita taco steak, no seasoning no flavor on any of it. The steak tasted frozen but I don't know if it was or not. I also had the Spanish rice..? It didn't look like Spanish rice or taste like it. Sorry:( I hate leaving negative reviews, but it just wasn't good.

What a surprise. Pure coincidence brought us to this place after a long day of work. I liked the outdoor seating and the fresh and tasty vegetarian choices. And all this for a very reasonable price. Congratulations, that is worth four stars. Btw: this seemed to be a Mexican place. Not American traditional.

This was my first visit here and we got seated then waited for about 10 minutes before we got chips...still no drinks or even an offer for any. The server finally came to take our drink order and we asked to go ahead and place our food order as well he said we couldn't. "No, only drinks first". We were tired of waiting so when we said "Nevermind, were leaving" he all of a sudden pulled his pad out to take our order. Terrible customer service. Also, if you're going to have a full restaurant open, maybe Try more than one server on a Sunday. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

It doesn't really matter what you order nothing is good! I've been here several time and nothing is good.... Except the margarita, those are good! I'd go to Taco Bell before id go there any more.....

Ehhhhh... one word. Mediocre. My hubby and I went here bc we were hungry before a movie and the high yelp ratings... disappointing. Firstly, the hostess yelled at us "how many" from across the restaurant then motioned us to come around. First red flag of the afternoon. The service was so so. She brought us everything we needed but we had to ask for a water refill. The food. It was okay. We had cheese dip that was good(4.95) and a decent size. The salsa was also decent.. I had the steak quesadilla a la carte (6.50) and my hubby had a lunch special (5.95) with a beef taco, beef burrito and chicken enchilada. I wish I would have gotten what he ate. Mine was really bland and the most expensive...oops! His food, on the other hand was quite good. Flavorful shredded chicken. Overall, we would not go back. We were just in the area to watch thor at a non crowded theater. If we wanted mediocre, we could've gone fast food and saved some money..

Great 'cheap' Mexican. Best salsa, great frozen margaritas! We eat here at least once a week.

San Antonio Grill is by far the the best Mexican food in this area. The service is good and quick, I have never had a bad meal their. I have tried just about everything on the menu and I haven't come across a bad dish, I am a very picky eater too. I would recommend this place to anyone for a good relaxed lunch or dinner.

I've eaten here three different times, hoping I got the wrong dish each time before, and was disappointed in all three dishes. The food was bland and after three visits won't be back.

Great place, but dead animals are not decoration. We walked out of Alabama and right into Texas. If you're into taxadermy though, you'll probably love the decor. But the food was good and the service was decent.
